What Is Coaching?

Conflict Coaching



In Person or By Phone

Individual coaching sessions are scheduled for sessions of 30 minutes to two hours, with a frequency of two to four times per month and a minimum three-month commitment.

Coaching Intensives and Retreats

A one- or two-day coaching intensive allows the client to work deeply with an issue, look at the risks to change, and test possible alternatives for resolution. The intensive is followed by weekly phone sessions for at least one month.

Renewal and Recharge Retreats

Renewal retreats are for individuals, partners, or teams who want the time and space to work with themselves deeply without the distractions of the external world. A retreat may last from two days to two weeks. We begin with an initial half-day session in which we define the issues, set goals, and determine processes to use during the time alone. We then set a schedule for periodic coaching contacts and a final evaluation and closure session.

The cost of the retreat is determined by the coaching contact hours and the type of lodging and meals selected. Follow-up phone sessions are included. If the meeting site is outside Boulder, additional expenses may include airfare, accommodations, meals, and travel time.
